Jing Zhi Wong's research interests are in the structural questions of domestic and international legal systems, regimes and institutions. His professional interests are in insurance contracts, torts, medical and veterinary negligence, and animal law.

His articles have appeared in journals (list of publications) such as Bond Law Review, University of Western Australia Law Review, Australian Insurance Law Bulletin (LexisNexis) and the Malaysian Journal of Law and Society (Jurnal Undang-undang dan Masyarakat). Jing Zhi is also known socially as Benjamin Wong.

Jing Zhi is a PhD candidate at Griffith University, Queensland, researching Institutions, Ideology and the Rule of Law in Xi Jinping's China. He is an alumnus of the University of Western Australia Law School and University Hall (the University of Western Australia).
